Self-Care Share

A CALM signature program offering a spa-inspired self-care experience at no cost to participants. Designed as a culturally affirming space for black women to pause, recharge, and connect. Hosted in partnership with community organizations and wellness practitioners.

Therapy Support Program

CALM provides access to therapy sessions to Black women for direct therapeutic support to increase access to mental health care at no cost to participants.

Support Circle

CALM provides a safe space to just be and show up as your full self. Here, rest is revolutionary and presence is enough. You do not have to walk this path alone.

Self Concept Program

An 8-week guided journey created to help women reconnect with who they are beyond the roles they play.

Answers to common CALM questions

CALM is a nonprofit dedicated to creating safe, restorative spaces for Black women to prioritize their mental health, emotional well-being, and holistic healing. Through culturally affirming programs and community partnerships, we aim to help women take off the “strong Black woman” cape and simply be.

Our programs are designed with Black women in mind, but all women are welcome to attend. We intentionally create spaces where Black women feel seen, supported, and celebrated.

We host Self Care Share events, workshops, and wellness experiences, including:

  • Guided meditation and breathwork
  • Mental health resource connections
  • Spa-style relaxation stations
  • Culturally relevant self-care activities

Community conversations and support groups

We bring our programs directly into the community—partnering with local shelters, community centers, food kitchens, and other organizations that serve women. Our goal is to meet women where they are, removing barriers like travel and cost.

Thanks to the generosity of donors and community partners, all of our events are completely free to participants.
