Dajiah Calloway is a licensed cosmetologist, certified hair loss practitioner, and founder of Scalp & Soul by Hair Freak Rx, a salon and hair wellness practice dedicated to helping women restore both their hair and their confidence. With over a decade of experience in beauty and wellness, she has built her career on combining technical expertise with compassionate care.
As a mother herself, Dajiah understands the unique challenges women face in balancing self-care, family, and personal growth. Her journey inspires her commitment to creating safe, restorative spaces where women—especially Black mothers in underserved communities—can access the kind of luxury self-care often denied to them.
In her role with Calm Nonprofit, Dajiah brings her expertise in holistic beauty, client care, and community outreach, along with her lived perspective as a mother, to help expand the organization’s mission to normalize wellness and self-care for women who need them most.
CALM is a nonprofit dedicated to creating safe, accessible, and culturally affirming spaces, where Black women can prioritize self-care, mental health, and community connection.
